The invens Note 18 is now available in our online store. It is built around a straightforward brief: an everyday phone should be big enough to do everything you need, and quiet enough to stay out of the way while you do it.
That rules out a lot of the usual compromises. The Note 18 does not trade screen size for battery life, or battery life for storage, or any of the three for a finish that looks like an afterthought. It ships in two storage tiers, three colours and one clearly defined set of priorities.
A 6.56-inch screen, sized for actual use
The 6.56-inch HD+ panel is the part you interact with most, and it is sized for the things people do with a phone rather than for a specification sheet: long message threads, maps on the move, short video, and the constant small glances at notifications.
Text stays crisp at that size, and the panel is bright enough for daylight use — the failure mode that makes large screens unpleasant on a bright day.
A 5,000mAh battery
The battery is 5,000mAh, which is the number that decides whether a phone survives a day of calls, streaming and scrolling with something left at the end of it. It is the capacity that does not require a mid-afternoon top-up, and it is the reason the Note 18 can be treated as a primary phone rather than a second one.
64GB or 128GB, plus virtual memory
Storage comes in two tiers — 64GB and 128GB — and both are backed by 4GB of physical memory plus up to 16GB of virtual memory. The practical effect is that the phone keeps more apps resident and switches between them without reloading, which matters more for day-to-day smoothness than a bigger benchmark number.
Two tiers rather than one is also deliberate. The 64GB version covers the light user who streams rather than stores; the 128GB version covers anyone who keeps photos, playlists and offline maps on the device itself.
Everyday hardware
- 16MP main camera — the sensor that does the work for everyday moments, documents and daylight photos.
- IP54 protection — resistance to dust and splashes, which is the realistic standard for a phone that leaves the house every day.
- USB-C — the connector you already have cables for.
- FM radio — music without using data, which still matters on commutes, in the car and when a data plan runs out.
- Face unlock — the quick way in, without a fingerprint ritual.
Android 16 out of the box
The Note 18 runs Android 16 from the first boot rather than waiting for an update cycle. That means the current notification handling, privacy controls and memory management are present on day one.
Three finishes
Note 18 comes in three colours, each with a different character:
- Wine Red — deep and saturated, the most distinctive of the three.
- Forge Orange — warm and energetic without being loud.
- Arctic Silver — the clean, neutral option that reads as silver in daylight and grey indoors.
